Akshay Kumar To Recreate Ex Raveena Tandon’s Tip Tip Barsa Paani With Katrina Kaif In Sooryavanshi

Bollywood’s one of the most iconic songs Tip Tip Barsa Paani featuring Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon from Mohra (1994) will soon be recreated in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi. Earlier it was reported that Akshay and Katrina Kaif will soon begin shooting for the cop-universe at Ramoji, Hyderabad and they will kick-start the shoot with a romantic song. Now it is being said that the romantic song is none other than Khiladi Kumar’s chartbuster song Tip Tip Barsa Paani.

Yes, That’s right! A source close to the development told Mumbai Mirror, “The reprised version is composed by Tanishq Bagchi while Farah Khan has come on board to choreograph Akshay and Katrina’s moves. It is a sensuous romantic song like the original, and Farah has already discussed her vision of the track with Rohit. Since Akshay and Katrina are teaming up after almost a decade, the idea is to give a different spin to their chemistry.”

Reportedly, after the Hyderabad schedule, the team will fly to Goa later this year for a brief stint before calling it a wrap. Earlier, Katrina and Akshay had featured in a song Gale Lag Ja from De Dana Dan which was reportedly an ode to Tip Tip Barsa Paani

Earlier, talking about the schedule, a source had told Mirror, “This one is the film's longest schedule. Rohit plans to wrap it up before he leaves for Bulgaria where he will shoot for the 10th season of adventure-based reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi, for around 45 days. Once back, Rohit will start filming the final schedule of Sooryavanshi in Goa with his lead actors and the antagonists-Gulshan Grover, Abhimanyu Singh and Nikitin Dheer".
